Platinum Scissors

Hi there! I’m Christy Beasley, visiting you today for a post of my new color, compliments of Sonya Burt at Platinum Scissors! I love her excitement about what she gets to do, so I just go in and let her have full reign of my hair…and it ALWAYS turns out great. 🙂 I’ve been keeping the red for almost a year now and love it, we decided to kick up another notch by playing with a little “ombre”, which is basically gradually blending into another color. Sonya went for a lighter, strawberry blonde tone on the ends of my hair and it worked beautifully with my vibrant red. Here are some pictures below of the ombre in action! Tip: If you’re like me, you like to have fun and get board with your hair staying the same too long. I personally look better with long hair because of my long, lanky build…and I like being able to style my hair so many different ways which require more length. So when the urge to chop it off comes (and it does), I refrain by calling Sonya and kicking up my color. 🙂 I’m also a big fan of fun tools like the S-waver which you will see in a pic below. Sorry for the bad image, it was a bum day but wanted you to see my new color S-waved! 😉 Funky styling usually satisfies the urge to chop for me!
